Europe’s energy transition will once again take center stage as The Smarter E Europe returns to Messe München in Munich, Germany, from June 23 to June 25, 2026. Widely recognized as Europe’s largest alliance of exhibitions for the energy industry, the event brings together the technologies and companies shaping the future of renewable energy, battery storage, electric mobility, and intelligent energy management under one roof.
The exhibition combines four flagship trade shows: Intersolar Europe for solar technologies, ees Europe for battery and energy storage systems, Power2Drive Europe for EV charging infrastructure and e-mobility, and EM-Power Europe for smart grids and integrated energy solutions. Together, they showcase how renewable generation, storage, digitalization, and electrified transportation are increasingly becoming interconnected rather than standalone markets.
Organizers expect around 2,800 exhibitors and more than 100,000 visitors across approximately 200,000 square meters of exhibition space, making it one of the world’s most influential meeting points for clean energy professionals, manufacturers, utilities, investors, policymakers, and technology innovators.
This year’s theme, “Accelerating Integrated Energy Solutions,” reflects the industry’s shift toward fully integrated energy ecosystems. Attendees can expect to see advances in utility-scale and residential solar, next-generation battery technologies, AI-driven energy management, bidirectional EV charging (V2G/V2X), hydrogen solutions, virtual power plants, smart grids, and digital platforms that optimize electricity generation and consumption.
Running alongside the exhibition, the conference program takes place on June 22–23 at the International Congress Center Messe München, offering expert presentations and discussions on the latest market trends, regulatory developments, and technological breakthroughs driving the global energy transition.
