Venue: Salón Fiesta
City: Guadalajara, Mexico
Organizer: Game Conference MX, with community allies DVJ MX and GameCrafters
About the event
Game Conference MX is the meeting point for game developers in Mexico and Spanish-speaking Latin America. It has grown fast. Past editions went from about 100 attendees to more than 750 between 2023 and 2025. Last year 127 studios from 10 countries took part and the B2B zone hosted 780 one-to-one meetings. This year participants are coming from 11 countries, with more than 30 speakers on the programme.
The show runs on two stages and a business floor. The Dev Stage carries talks for developers. The Player Stage hosts game jams, a Gamers vs. Devs debate, Indie Games Show and Tell, panels, a lucha libre exhibition, the GCMX Awards and the GameMex Sinfónico concert. Indie Spot showcases playable indie games, and the GCMX Party closes the event on Saturday. Students can attend on an Academy pass, with volume discounts for universities.
Xsolla at GCMX
Xsolla, the games commerce and payments company, is the most visible industry sponsor this year. On Friday, November 13 it runs:
- A talk titled “I Have A Game…Now What?” by Efren Fregoso Jimenez, Developer Evangelist, 2:30-3:15 pm, on turning a finished game into a sustainable studio through pitching and monetization.
- A B2B Industry Master Class hosted by Alessandro Biollo Menjivar, Area Vice President for Latin America, 4:30-6:00 pm in the B2B and Xsolla Connect Zone, covering market expansion, operations and post-launch growth.
- Xsolla Connect Guadalajara, an evening networking event for developers, publishers and partners.
