Fypon Introduces New Products at 2019 NAHB International Builders’ Show

Fypon, LLC, the recognized leader in polyurethane product design, innovation and moulding technology, is launching its 2019 new products at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) 2019 International Builders’ Show (IBS), Feb. 19-21, in Las Vegas.

“We’ve researched the latest in home design to offer homeowners new decorative moulding and millwork products inspired by three trends: Humble Roots, Confident Focus and Timeless Twist,” said Jeff Glosser, vice president, Fypon. “Our new products enable homeowners to reflect their personal style and the architectural style of their home.”

Humble Roots is grounded in casual living and is brought to life in homes that embrace architectural authenticity. These homes often feature simple, clean design details that incorporate natural textures, dimensional patterns and a softened industrial vibe.

Confident Focus is tied to visually inspired spaces with striking contrasts that have an undercurrent of excitement while still maintaining a sense of calm. Home styles that coordinate with this trend often feature vertical windows, pops of color, geometric styling and mixed materials, inside and out.

Timeless Twist is centered on the reinvention of classics mixed with 21st century living. These homes often have tailored design elements that add character and feature classic patterns and deep, dramatic color palettes to bring an understated sophistication to the home.

“Our new products were designed to complement a wide range of architectural styles, from Traditional to Modern,” said Mary Nesper, senior product manager for Fypon. “In addition, our polyurethane products are manufactured for durability and endurance that includes weather, moisture and insect resistance.”

Modern Farmhouse Shaker-Style Shutters

New Modern Farmhouse Shaker-style Shutters deliver an authentic look with subtle elegance. Fypon’s Shaker-style Shutter expansion pairs perfectly with both relaxed and formal variations of this on-trend home style. Ideal for use throughout the home, the shutters feature a classic barn door design that works for both exterior and interior applications.

Crafted from durable polyurethane, Fypon’s Modern Farmhouse Shaker-style Shutters are lightweight and easy to install, and can be painted to complement a home’s architectural design.

Distinction Crosshead Options

Discover expanded style options for Fypon’s Distinction Crosshead, now available to add an updated look to timeless design. Dentil and Bottom Trim are offered for both Ready-to-Install and Trimmable options and complement a variety of architectural home styles including Victorian, Colonial, Cape Cod and Modern Farmhouse.

Trimmable Distinction Crossheads and Dentil and Bottom Trim can be measured and cut to the exact size needed at the jobsite. Ready-to-Install Distinction Crossheads are ordered in the exact size needed for a project with End Caps already attached, allowing for quick and easy installation. Optional Keystones and Dentil and Bottom Trim are factory applied.

Rafter Tails

New Rafter Tails feature a Rough Sawn Cedar finish, providing an authentic look. Five new profile designs – Straight, Cove, Slant, Bullnose and Scroll – were carefully selected to complement a variety of architectural home styles, including Craftsman, Prairie, Modern Farmhouse, Mediterranean and Southwest.

Fypon Rafter Tails were designed to fit over structural lumber to protect against the elements, or to add a purely decorative touch. They come primed and can be stained or painted to complement a home’s architectural details. Crafted from durable polyurethane, Fypon Rafter Tails are lightweight and easy to install.

Beam Mantels and Shelves

Add rustic charm to the interior of any home with Fypon Beam Mantels and Shelves. Two realistic wood grains – Rough Sawn and Hand Hewn – are available to complement a variety of architectural home styles, including Modern Farmhouse, Craftsman and Prairie.

Crafted from durable polyurethane, Fypon Beam Mantels and Shelves are lightweight, easy to install and can be painted or stained to complement a home’s architectural details. Unlike traditional wood beams, they do not require additional structural support.

Structural Post Kit

Fypon’s new Structural Post Kit is for use with Column Wraps measuring 6″ or wider. The kit includes an aluminum post, 4″ x 4″ post mount and a screw pack. The aluminum post has a load-bearing capacity of 5,000 lbs. and is available in heights measuring 96″, 108″ and 120″.

Fypon’s new decorative moulding and millwork products are now available to order. Representatives will be available in booth C5236 at IBS to discuss how Fypon’s new products reflect today’s current design trends.
