GSX is the flagship annual event of ASIS International and the largest gathering of security management professionals anywhere. The 2025 edition drew participants from 95 countries. The 2026 program runs 200-plus education sessions across three days, backed by an exhibit hall with more than 500 exhibitors covering physical security, surveillance, access control, perimeter protection, and the cyber side of the house.
Keynotes
Three keynotes anchor the general sessions. Peter Diamandis, founder and executive chairman of the XPRIZE Foundation and executive founder of Singularity University, opens on Monday, September 14, with a talk on how exponential technologies are reshaping security problems and organizational resilience.
Cassie Kozyrkov headlines Tuesday, September 15. Her focus is practical AI and decision science, specifically the frameworks that help security teams apply machine learning to threat detection and risk assessment without confusing a model output for a decision.
Travis Mills closes the keynote track. A retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant and quadruple amputee who founded the Travis Mills Foundation, he speaks on resilience and leading through extreme adversity. ASIS president Eddie Sorrells framed the three as a technologist, an AI leader, and an embodiment of resilience, which is about as tidy a summary as the lineup allows.
Education program
Sessions are organized into tracks spanning executive protection, governance, information security, intelligence, investigations, organizational resilience, site security, supply chain security, and personnel security. The program is built to serve both the practitioner looking for tactics and the CSO working on multi-year strategy, and the split is real rather than marketing language.
Attendees can earn up to 22 CPEs across the three days. Pre-conference certification review programs start September 12 for anyone sitting a CPP, PSP, or PCI exam. New this year is expanded exhibit-floor learning, with sessions running on stages inside the hall rather than only in breakout rooms, plus interactive workshops.
Exhibit hall
Hall hours run 9:30 am to 5:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday, and 9:30 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday. With most GSX attendees carrying annual budgets north of a million dollars, the floor functions as a buying event more than a browsing one. Expect heavy representation from video surveillance and cloud video platforms, access control, hostile vehicle mitigation and perimeter systems, visitor management, and guarding services.
ASIS has added an AI assistant called Ask GSX for session and exhibitor recommendations, available to registered attendees through My Show Planner. Career HQ returns with one-on-one resume review and job market analysis, and the ASIS Awards of Excellence are presented on site.

A full digital pass gives live access to all three keynotes, concurrent education sessions, Game Changer sessions, and exhibit hall learning across all three days. It is not a substitute for the floor, but for a team sending one person in and wanting the rest to follow the program, it works.
