SIAL Paris returns to Paris Nord Villepinte from October 17 to 21. It’s held every two years and is the world’s largest food innovation trade show, filling the halls with food and drink makers, retailers, importers and distributors from every continent.
This edition opens on a Saturday for the first time, running Saturday to Wednesday. Part of the reason is practical: it keeps visitors off Paris public transport at the busiest commuting hours.
Buyers from supermarket chains, food service and import businesses come to find new products and suppliers. The innovation awards and trend zones show what’s coming to shelves next, from alternative proteins to reformulated products shaped by health rules and new appetite-suppressing drugs.
If you sell food or drink internationally, SIAL is the one show in the two-year cycle you plan around.
