retailX to Debut 2021 Brand Experience Awards
ALPHARETTA, Ga. – The 2nd annual Brand Experience Award presentation will be held during the retailX 2021 conference and exhibition, August 24-25 in Chicago at the McCormick Place Convention Center. The winning brands will be announced on the Smart Commerce stage, Tuesday, August 24th at 5:30pm and are sponsored by solution-based merchandising and packaging leader Westrock and omnichannel customer engagement platform Emarsys.
This year’s winners are being selected from a group of more than 60 nominations and are focused on retail and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands that are winning customer attention and affection across all stages of the shopping journey. A selection of brands nominated include: Mattel, Pepsico, UNTUCKit, Urban Stems, Sam’s Club, US Cellular, M&M Mars, Cuisinart and Hy-Vee.
The Brand Experience Awards were created to spotlight retail brands and businesses that are redefining the rules of interaction, engagement and loyalty. Winners have implemented new tools and strategies in one or several areas of the brand experience, raising the stakes for their competitors and the entire retail industry.
Last year’s awards were presented to 17 companies including Allbirds, The Vitamin Shoppe, L’Oreal, e.l.f. Cosmetics and Boost Mobile.

In addition to being presented with an award live at retailX 2021, winners will receive spotlight coverage on both the Retail TouchPoints and retailX websites as well as their social media channels, respectively.
This year, retailX will boast more than 90 speakers delivering content on the latest trends and technologies in retail. The event is the first large-scale in-person retail industry conference and exhibition since early 2020.
