MEDICA, the world’s largest medical technology trade fair, runs November 16 to 19 at Messe Düsseldorf, alongside COMPAMED for medical suppliers and components.
More than 5,000 exhibitors from 72 countries and about 80,000 visitors are expected. Last year’s edition drew 5,300 exhibitors and 78,000 visitors.
The show covers the whole hospital: imaging, diagnostics, lab equipment, surgical devices, wearables and health IT. AI diagnostics, digital health and the EU’s medical device rules are the main topics, along with cost pressure on health systems everywhere.
For medtech makers, distributors and hospital buyers, MEDICA is where much of the year’s business starts.
