EuroBLECH, the world’s largest sheet metal working show, takes place at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds from October 20 to 23. This is the 28th edition, and the show is held every two years.
It covers the whole sheet metal chain: forming, cutting, joining, surface treatment, automation and the software that ties it together. Laser cutters, press brakes and robotic cells run live on the floor.
The talking points are automation and energy efficiency. European manufacturers face high power costs and a shortage of skilled workers, so machines that run longer with fewer people and less electricity are what buyers are after.
For metal fabricators, EuroBLECH is the place to compare the major machine builders side by side in a single week.
