Automation Taipei 2026 opened today. It runs 19–22 August at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, across Halls 1 and 2, and it runs concurrently with TAIROS (the Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robot Show), which shares the same dates and venue.
What’s drawing attention this year:
– Three technical pillars are framing the show: IIoT data standardization via OPC UA and MQTT, edge computing pushed into robotic controllers to cut motion-logic latency, and ESG-driven efficiency in motors and energy recovery.
– A jointly built demonstration line from the Global Electronics Association with Aurotek, Advantech AI, and Universal Robots, running the GEA/IPC CFX standard for plug-and-play connectivity and end-to-end traceability into MES/ERP/cloud.
– Primax Tymphany showing edge AI sensor fusion for robotics under a “Bring Intelligent Automation Experience to Life” theme.
– Anchor exhibitors include Hiwin, Solomon Technology, Techman Robot, Yaskawa Taiwan, Delta Electronics, Mitsubishi Electric Automation Taiwan, and Panasonic Industrial Devices.
