The Personal Connected Health Alliance (PCHAlliance), a HIMSS innovation company, today announced that the 2019 Connected Health Conference (CHC) will return to Boston, October 16-18. This year’s theme, Designing for Healthy Habits & Better Outcomes, speaks to the transformation of health through system, product, service and behavior change design.
Hosted by PCHAlliance and Partners Connected Health, CHC has deep roots and connections in industry, government, academia and healthcare delivery. Speakers and attendees are visionaries and change-makers, representing influence, insight and innovation in every corner of the field. The program will cover the spectrum of technology-enabled, person-centered care, from prevention to wellness and chronic disease management, with a focus on new evidence and approaches in connected health.
Leading connected health visionary, Joseph C. Kvedar, MD, Vice President, Connected Health, Partners HealthCare, and Professor, Harvard Medical School, is again serving as CHC Program Chair. In addition, the CHC Advisory Board brings deep expertise in connected health and key trends accelerating change. The board includes leaders from provider organizations driving population health and design initiatives, health plan executives with expertise in health behavior change and venture capital executives, as well as a leading patient advocacy organization, a physician professional society and a successful startup CEO.
