Leaders in cryptocurrency will address the future of digital currency, how to buy and trade it and how it will impact U.S. businesses and industries during FinTank CryptoCon 2018, an unprecedented all-day Summit in Chicago, Thursday, Feb. 15th. Sponsored by FinTank, a leading Fintech hub in Chicago, the Summit is being held at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law’s Thorne Auditorium, 375 E. Chicago Ave.
“To my knowledge, no one has ever organized an event of this magnitude — a collective meeting of some of the greatest minds in cryptocurrency,” says George Vukotich, the founder of FinTink. “Whether beginners or experienced traders in digital currency, attendees will walk away with a better understanding of and valuable insights about this emerging technology.”
More than 50 recognized experts in the field of cryptocurrency will serve as speakers and panelists covering topics ranging from trading and mining to launching an Initial Coin Offering (ICO).
The morning breakout sessions include an introductory workshop, featuring the legendary Izzy Nelken, president and founder of Super Computer Consulting, Inc. Nelken, who is globally recognized in this space and was instrumental in bringing Bitcoin futures to market, will help beginners understand cryptocurrencies, how they work and investing in them. A more advanced course on trading derivatives on cryptocurrencies led by Tom Sosnoff of TastyTrade will also be an option. Professionals who specialize in finance, accounting, law, etc. can participate in morning breakout sessions tailored to their occupations. Lawyers who attend will be offered continuing legal credits (CLE).
The afternoon main event will address the challenges facing the industry, investment opportunities and the future of the “FinTech Revolution.”
The cost of the event ranges from $199 for the morning sessions to $499 for the all-day event, including lunch and an evening reception.
